    FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- (Fort Wayne's NBC) Police are investigating after a man died from gun shot wounds on the city's northeast side.  Officers were called to the 9400 block of Greyhawk Drive shortly after 8 p.m. Monday. They found one man who had been shot. He later died at the scene.  Witnesses told police the victim was inside the home at the time of the incident.     FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The Fort Wayne International Airport will receive more than $5 million in grant money from the Federal Aviation Administration.  The FAA is awarding $677 million in airport infrastructure grants, and FWA will receive $5,44,720 to rehabilitate a runway.  The 241 grants will fund 346 infrastructure projects that include runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals.

    MIAMI CO., Ind. -- (Fort Wayne's NBC News) A bald eagle is recovering in Fort Wayne after being rescued by the side of a road in Miami County.  A Fort Wayne's NBC viewer captured the rescue on their cellphone.  The viewer said the eagle was likely hit by a car and couldn't fly.  State police rescued the bird and the DNR brought the eagle to a rehabilitation center in Fort Wayne.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- (Fort Wayne's NBC News) Fort Wayne police responded to the 3300 block of Winter Street just before midnight, Thursday to reports of a shooting. Police found one victim suffering from gunshot wounds who died at the scene. They say a second victim also suffering from gunshot wounds found his own way to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
